How did you decide on your career path?
I wanted to be an architect as long as I can remember. My dad owned a construction company, and I would spend summers working with him and enjoyed being a part of the construction process. I loved to draw and create things.
What is your favorite part of the design process?
I enjoy the problem solving and creative aspects of designing buildings. Taking a client’s hopes, dreams and needs and turning them into a built space is amazing. I love exceeding what they could have imagined.
Where is your favorite place to visit in the Midwest?
North Dakota, where I grew up.
Family: My husband David and two children.
