Siouxland Design Office

Our eldest office, FEH Siouxland has been designing in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota since the late 1950s. A couple years ago, we renovated a downtown nightclub into our office. Our project experience is eclectic as our music choices.

Capital View Design Office

In 1979 FEH continued to establish our Iowa roots by adding a Des Moines location. In 1999 FEHDSM transformed a former fish market to our current design office.  We dig our East Village location and love to host office shindigs on our front patio.

tri-state Design Office

In 2011 FEH opened its first Eastern Iowa design office. In 9 years FEHDBQ has been one of the fastest growing architecture firms in Dubuque. Our current office location was also a former bar (see a pattern?).  Our DBQ staff is as serious about brat choices as they are about sports teams!

WISCO Design Office

Also established in 2011 FEH OCO is the newest design location.  Our Wisconsin office is perfectly located between Madison and Milwaukee, while also being a two hours drive from Lambeau AND Soldier Fields according to Google – staff members are rightfully doubtful.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week. Shout out to all the teachers that have shaped and inspired the minds of Team Purple!📣 SHOUT OUT 📣 Denny Sharp, AIA: "Mr. Rotschafer, liked my junior high drawings and suggested I look into architecture. I could actually get paid to draw?! What could be better. Good ol' Mr. Rotschafer had something here!"Gary Schulte, Assoc. AIA: "Mr. Eischeid from Bellevue MS/HS inspired me to pursue a career in the arts."Miranda Seals, Assoc. AIA: "Mrs. Jessica Meier from Sigourney Community School District is one of those teachers you couldn’t forget if you tried. I wish her the best of luck on her next adventure! (Today is her last concert as a music teacher.)" 🎵 Ashley Higgins, EIT: "Mr. Dahlman from Braham Area High School inspired me to become a Structural Engineer. His crazy physics projects (Hello bridge made of spaghetti and Elmer’s glue, I’m talking to you!) always pushed me to challenge myself. Thank You!"Cory W. Sharp, AIA: "Ms. Leah at Run DSM Movement 515 is amazing because she helps give marginalized youth their own voices, express their creativity, and celebrates with our community how unique and diverse we are.”Traci Trampe, Architectural Technician: "Mr. Netley from South Sioux City Community School District encouraged me to continue with my interest in architecture despite the limited female presence in the field."Aaron Davis, AIA: "Professor Joe Muench from Iowa State University helped me realize my talent for mentally visualizing something and then just... making it. He told me “Don’t take your ability to be able to just do this for granted; most people can’t do that.” Now I try to create and build as often as I can."Azusa Allard, AIA: "Mrs. Bunch at Unity Elementary School is amazing because she does so much helping out the kids, including my son, even in the midst of this pandemic.” ...
