FEH DESIGN provided a Design Workshop to repurpose space for the children’s collection. Together, with the communities input the team created a vibrant & flexible space with child-friendly, age-appropriate furniture, child-appropriate comfortable spaces, a maker space, accessibility for all, and mobile workstation for staff. This space is enclosed with glass walls for staff supervision and to control sound. The colorful entry banner draws the eye to the children’s area and special ceiling lighting creates a path to a curved seating area.
