FEH DESIGN was selected to help the Library Board and Community determine the best way to expand while keeping the character of the original 1913 Carnegie building. Options were explored that considered an addition/remodel of the existing building and how program areas would be arranged in the new space.
Efforts focused on workflow, logical sequencing, convenient patron wayfinding and access to modern technology. The resulting plan and exterior design were conceived by the Architect while working with the community in a collaborative design format and has been very well received.
