EMA KUHLMANN 

Ema is a professional with degrees in neuroscience and psychology, but her true passion lies in architecture, so back to school she went. When she’s not analyzing drawings, you can find her at the rink, enjoying roller derby.

How did you decide on your career path?

I have always wanted to envision and create special spaces that make people excited to be there!

What is your favorite part of the design process?

Drawing initial design concepts at our Spark Sessions.

How are you creating vibrant communities through design?

Listening to community feedback and integrating it into our designs is an amazing, collaborative way for us to create spaces that evoke excitement and reflect the values of those who live and work there.

Where is your favorite place to visit in the Midwest?

Devil’s Lake State Park.
