FEH DESIGN conducted a Design Charrette for a new facility on a new site for this growing Sioux Falls area congregation. Having outgrown its location in an established residential area of Sioux Falls, the congregation sold its existing facility to help fund Phase I of a multi phased development of a 12-acre site on the perimeter of this expanding city.
Phase I’s 22,000 sf facility includes a multi-use Family Life Center with a raised audiovisual performance area and worship seating for 800. A large narthex features a gourmet coffee shop setting with comfortable reading and reflection areas. Phase I design provides space for a small chapel, library-bookstore, classrooms, nursery, administrative offices and kitchen.
Phase II provides an education addition to accommodate adult classroom spaces and children’s ministry classrooms for Sunday School and weekday activities.
