Q&A WITH ARCHITECT TIM

How did you decide on your career path?

I always enjoyed art, math, and physics. Architecture just made sense.

What is your favorite part of the design process?

I enjoy creativity and problem-solving. As an architect, you both create and solve the problem.

How are you creating vibrant communities through design?

I approach each project with a focus on creating places that foster connection and a strong sense of identity. Through thoughtful planning, inclusive spaces, and human-centered design, I aim to support environments where people gather, interact, and feel a lasting sense of belonging, spaces that influence your emotions.

Where is your favorite place to visit in the Midwest?

Every year my family spends two weeks camping in the Northwoods near Brule, WI.  No electricity or running water.
