FEH Design; a multi-disciplinary Architecture, Structural Engineering and Interior Design firm is searching for a talented, driven, experienced new team member in our Des Moines, Iowa office to serve as an Principal Architect / Project Manager with ownership opportunity.

In addition to traditional design experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all levels of our services. These opportunities include working directly with the leadership team and firm members in all disciplines, supplemented by client and consultant interaction through focused project work in and out of the office. The Project Manager will work with the Principals to ensure an appropriate technical solution and production strategy. Responsibilities include; carrying out complex design assignments requiring development of new or improved techniques of design, business development and marketing, and mentoring younger staff.

FEH Design is searching for a qualified candidate who is a Registered Architect with a minimum of 8 years of experience with an accredited undergraduate or master’s degree in architecture. Experience should include design, design development, construction documents, contract administration, marketing and sales. Skills in  consultant coordination and client interaction are also required. Qualified candidates should have the ability to understand and work within project scopes, budgeting and scheduling; have superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities; and possess a passion for design excellence, sustainability and high professional performance standards.

Experienced individuals will be required to show a strong creative design portfolio, possess strong project leadership skills, be able to sell and win project work and have experience with project management. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of computer software programs including the most current version of REVIT.
