How did you decide on your career path?
My grandpa was the president of a construction company in Wisconsin, and my dad ran his own contracting business when I was younger before becoming a cost estimator. Because of that, I grew up on job sites and around the industry from an early age. I always had a natural strength in math and shared a love of HGTV with my mom, so when it came time to choose a career path, architecture felt like the perfect blend of everything I enjoyed.
What is your favorite part of the design process?
I really enjoy the stage of the design process when everything starts to come together and the details are refined. It’s satisfying to see the concept evolve into something cohesive and fully resolved.
How are you creating vibrant communities through design?
I’m creating vibrant communities through design by grounding every project in genuine collaboration and human insight. By listening closely to stakeholders, understanding how people want to connect and learn, and translating those needs into thoughtful spatial ideas, I help shape environments that feel welcoming, purposeful, and alive. This people‑centered approach ensures the spaces we design naturally foster connection, belonging, and community vibrancy.
What makes Wisconsin a great place to live?
Milwaukee is a great place to live because we have the beautiful lakefront of Lake Michigan as well as great food, breweries and festivals.
