FEH Design; a multi-disciplinary Architecture, Structural Engineering and Interior Design firm is searching for a talented, driven, experienced new team member for our Oconomowoc, WI office to serve as an Architect Project Manager/Office manager for this growing office location.

In addition to traditional design experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all levels of our services. These opportunities include working directly with the leadership team and firm members in all disciplines, supplemented by client and consultant interaction through focused project work in and out of the office. The Project Manager will work with the Principals to ensure an appropriate technical solution and production strategy. Responsibilities include; carrying out complex design assignments requiring development of new or improved techniques of design, business development and marketing, and mentoring younger staff.

FEH Design is searching for a qualified candidate who is a Registered Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience with an accredited undergraduate or master’s degree in architecture. Experience should include design, design development, construction documents, contract administration, marketing and sales. Skills in cost estimating, consultant coordination and client interaction are also required. Qualified candidates should have the ability to understand and work within project scopes, budgeting and scheduling; have superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities; and possess a passion for design excellence, sustainability and high professional performance standards.

Experienced individuals will be required to show a strong creative design portfolio, possess strong project leadership skills, be able to sell and win project work and have experience with project management. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of computer software programs including the most current version of REVIT.

BIM Manager

FEH DESIGN is looking for an BIM/Revit Manager to join our team. We are seeking an organized, self-motivated and experienced BIM/Revit Manager. The position will provide BIM and technology management, with a focus on Revit, for the firm’s in-house, multi-disciplined design projects. Successful candidates will have strong architectural, interior design and structural experience and advanced knowledge in current and emerging industry standard technology, tools and methodologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate with, lead and collaborate with our in-house BIM/Revit Committee to oversee the following:
• Prioritize and coordinate Revit and BIM initiatives across all disciplines and four office locations. Develop BIM solutions that respond to the specific automation needs and demands of our projects.
• Coordinate overall Revit file management. Position requires candidates who are able to work in a collaborative team environment
• Develop, document and implement standards and best practices.
• Develop, maintain and provide updates to Revit templates, procedures, and workflows.
• Manage, update, and further develop and streamline FEH DESIGN Revit library/families/components.
• Assist teams with project startup, workflow, and coordination strategies.
• Coordinate and/or conduct Revit training and presentations.
• Review office projects to ensure that office-wide Revit documentation standards are met, including: naming conventions, office standards, and work sets are being followed and that any issues are being resolved.
• Participate in management meetings to report and provide advice related to technical and software issues.
• Manage technology related vendor partnerships. Collaborate with Autodesk and technology partners on BIM related errors or network issues, ensure BIM software is up to date and licenses are accrued as needed.
• Coordinate with IT department (or act as IT) to manage the deployment of Revit and other ancillary BIM tools
• Engage with all levels of the firm to promote technology and process innovation.
• Strategically investigate leading-edge technologies related to BIM as well as related technologies that would benefit the firm in areas such as production, client presentations, office project management and project acquisition. Define adoption and implementation plans as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing team and update BIM marketing material as needed.
• Some travel between four regional offices required on as needed basis.
Qualifications and Experience: The most successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Have advanced/expert experience in Revit along with add-in software including Enscape, Lumion, Blue Beam and typical project management. 3+ years preferred.
• Have an understanding of current and emerging VR technology and its integration into BIM software.
• Have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and prioritize assignments.
• Be self-motivated, well-organized, a good communicator and work effectively within a team.
• Have experience effectively training all levels of staff on BIM technology.
• Ability to learn quickly and willingness to adapt as circumstances change.
• Be able to interpret architectural and structural design drawings experienced level.
• Experience working in an architectural firm or similar environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with architectural specifications/keynoting.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction disciplines (preferred but not required).
